Was born in Lagos State, Okusaga street Ilupeju, at the age of two(2)years old, her mother “Adesayan Adenike” took her to Ikorodu to to start living with her grandmother “Adesanya Fatimoh” .

Adewunmi returned back to her birthplace after some years, where she was selected to be part of Nakamura Football Academy from school team.
